Doctor Kawanishi is "a Board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon by the Japanese Orthopedic Association" and "a Board-certified rheumatologist by the Japanese College of Rheumatology" and specializes in the treatment of sports injuries.
As a general practitioners, all of our staff members are studying hard in order to provide a wider range of medical services to our many patients.
On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, we have a staff member in charge of orthotics, and we also make plantar plates for sportspeople.
The orthopedic department provides treatment for various conditions and injuries such as lumbago, big toe, hunchback, sciatica, disc herniation, collagen disease, frozen shoulder, flat foot, and ligament injury, as well as injuries caused by traffic accidents and industrial accidents. We also deal with rheumatism. As for foot problems, we also deal with bunions and ingrown toenails caused by tightening of the feet with pumps.
Within orthopedics, the doctor's specialized field is related to the hands. We provide consultation and treatment regarding numbness of the hands, such as tendinitis and carpal tunnel syndrome, which causes paralysis due to compression of the median nerve.

In addition to X-rays, we also have an ultrasound machine that we use for diagnosis, and if we determine that an MRI scan is necessary, we refer the patient to a nearby hospital, where the results are carefully explained and appropriate treatment is provided.
We also have a water bed, which can be used not only to relieve pain and discomfort but also to improve blood circulation and rehabilitation.

We also accept pneumococcal vaccines at public expense. Please make a reservation in advance if you wish to take this vaccine.
We recommend that patients receive the conventional vaccine (at public expense) one year after receiving the new vaccine (at their own expense). In this case, the vaccine will be effective even if you do not receive the pneumococcal vaccine for the rest of your life.
